Comfortable hotel in the center of Santana - a great location when exploring Madeira's north coast and Pico Ruivo. Staff was very friendly and helpful with figuring out bus timetables. Rooms are very spaceous, with beautiful bathrooms, comfortable beds and balconies overlooking the garden. The hotel also has a jazuzzi and swimming pool which are free for hotel guests. Good breakfast.

Calm, nice room, free parking, breakfast ok, computer at disposal + wifi in the reception. Ideally located for walking in this part of the island (pico ruivo, caldeiro verde, ...).

Wouh! Ghost village! Except when a bus full of tourists arrives and stops just in front of the little colorful houses of Santana. Awful, specially after funchal.

I recently stayed at Hotel O Colmo for a few nights during my vacation. The suite was lovely and spotless, providing ample space. The hotel is situated in a nice town with shops, bars, and cafes, and it's only a short distance from the beautiful rocky coast. The meals at the hotel were terrific, and I particularly enjoyed dining at the restaurant. Additionally, we found a convenient car hire place just around the corner, which greatly enhanced our stay.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good location in Santana. Clean and spacious. Very nice balcony. The pool is not very large but is heated and there are views to the garden, which is rather nice. Hearty portions at the restaurant at good prices. Parking available. Internet also, but only in the lobby. The staff is friendly and smiling.

A family run hotel, does not have the facilities expected from a 4 stars hotel - E.G. no hair dryer in the room, we had to request one from the reception, when you check in they also give you the remote control to the tv (?!), no bath robes available (not even with a charge), 20 eur charge to use the sauna (pretty steep...), no safe box in the room.

Great location in the centre of Santana, handy for visiting the local themepark and museums.

Nothing in particular. probably a little more basic for a 4* hotel than I would usually expect, but clean and had reasonable facilities.

The location was perfect, situated near the center of a beautiful town. The high level hikes in the area were easily accessible from here. The staff here were very friendly and helpful, always with a smile. The room was spacious and clean, with a big balcony offering a view of the garden and ocean. The breakfast had a wide selection and the dinner in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. we had a fantastic experience.

We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Would love to stay here again as it was a pleasant stay for two nights. The room is a nice size and equipped with a balcony and a TV.

The staff was extremely friendly. the breakfast was great. - the room was spotless and new-fashioned, with an electronic key card, a work desk, and a TV with satellite channels. - the service provided was excellent. - the location was excellent, in the mountains, in a very nice area.

the rooms are big and they have an electronic key card, a multi-channel television and a study table. the staff are very-very nice, managed the parking onsite. can't wait to say thanks a lot, would like to stay longer.

Stayed here for Xmas and enjoyed the indoor heated swimming pool and sauna. the friendly staff made our stay pleasant. the cozy bar attached to the dining rooms offered a warm atmosphere with a fire in the evening. the location provided easy access to nearby restaurants and shops.

The rooms were a bit dated and could use some updates and repairs. the noise carries throughout the hotel, making it hard to rest peacefully.
